Dr. Suseelan’s journey started at a very young age. Right after finishing his schooling, he completed his Diploma in Aviation and thus began his journey in the field of his passion. Just 6 months into finishing his course, he bagged his first job for Air Deccan as a ticketing officer at Mumbai International Airport. Later he joined Kingfisher airlines and then moved on to Spicejet as a security officer to advance in his career graph. Having gained vast experience across different departments in various top airline carriers, he headed a multinational travel company called Skynet as a Branch Director. Under his supervision, the company was able to spread its operations & expand across the whole nation. After this successful venture, Dr. Suseelan joined AirAsia, (6 times the world's Best LCC airline) as India’s first Flight Steward. This added another golden feather in his cap of many accomplishments. Although he was accomplishing so much in his professional life, he decided to not compromise on getting a formal education. He is a psychology graduate with an MBA in the field of Human Resources, the learnings of which have helped him in training & connecting with many of his peers/students.
 

For someone who successfully lived & understood all intricate details of the aviation industry, it was only natural for Dr. Suseelan to want to share his knowledge and learnings with those who share a similar passion for the aviation industry. Thus began his entrepreneurial journey of imparting skill & proficiency to those willing to learn the ins & outs of working in the field of aviation by setting up the International Institute of Aviation (IIA). With IIA, Dr. Suseelan’s vision of empowering the industry with well-trained manpower is also coming true. Under his chairmanship, IIA has already achieved various accolades and accomplishments and has gained the reputation of being one of the best training institutes in the country. 

Dr. Suseelan’s journey is an ongoing one, full of life learning lessons and there is no doubt that all his future endeavors will not only be successful but also full of inspiration for everyone out there to learn from.
